Responding from the offices of Cornerstone Praise and Worship Center, Coalgate, Oklahoma, on Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Glad to hear that Baseball and Scouts are going well. Good luck with your next baseball playoff game. We rode 100 miles from Paris, Texas to Coalgate, Oklahoma, today. It was pretty hot, probably our hottest day yet. We just ate at a restaurant downtown and are back at the church getting ready for tomorrow. We spend two more nights in Oklahoma before we move into Kansas. When we came back from dinner there was a red fox running around in front of the church.
We have a day off tomorrow to go to church and rest up. Talk to you soon.

The more I look at the photo of all of you and Mrs. Watson, I think Patsy Merritt has a twin sister! I will try to send this to Patsy and Jimmy! Hope things are going smooth for all of you. I am praying for good weather because I know it is pretty bad in places you are heading! Bob Gailey has hit snow, sleet, and rain in CO. Please also pray for his safety on his ride as he proceeds toward home. My prayers are with you all.

On Friday, May 23, 2008, on the trip from Marhall, Texas to Paris, Texas, Marvin and I got haircuts at the barber shop of Charles and Vanda Page, in Hughes Springs, Texas. Many thanks for our much needed rest in the comfortable barber chairs and the great company. Photos are available in our photo album for May 23, 2008.
