Hey Biker Buddies...Greetings from Montana . Sorry about not sending something, but the ability to send a blog or sleep the choice is obvious. We've had some challenging days, but certainly God filled. As I write Michael is still in Lander Wy hospital possibly going to be released on Monday (16th of June). The bacteria he had is called Mursa and as I understand it, we all carry the bacteria but once in a while it can invade an open sore, such is the case. Anyway we're about 300+ miles north of Lander ( Dillon , MT ) and hopefully Michael can rejoin us in Missoula .
We rode through Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Forest ...talk about awesome! I can't begin to describe the beauty of it...how cool (really cool) to ride along with snow drifts along the rode that were 4-6 ft high. We even stopped by old faithful, saw buffalo and got a parking ticket in W.Yellowstone Village for $50 and when I went to the Police Dept an appealed they were kind of enough to say, "they would handle it." God is good...
Scott Dovey and Chris Stephens headed home today(Father's Day) and I truly hated to see them go...I think they really got into the journey. We welcomed as our new driver Robert McCarthy from Melbourne, Robert is a marshall arts teacher...so don't anybody mess with us!
Keep us in your prayers as we've done extra miles to get us back on schedule. God is good!
The Rust Rider! Scott
